Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Bluntly, a browser extension and service operated by AEA Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"). By installing or using Bluntly, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Bluntly reads a job listing you choose to analyse and uses AI to score how well it fits your CV, with feedback and optional cover letters. Scores and feedback are guidance, not guarantees— they are AI-generated opinions to help you decide where to spend your effort, and do not promise any job, interview, or outcome.

Your account

You need an account to use Bluntly. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be at least 16 years old.

Plans & billing

• •Bluntly offers a Free plan (limited daily analyses) and a Pro plan at £10/month.
• •Pro is billed monthly in advance via our payment processor (Stripe) and renews automatically until you cancel.
• •You can cancel anytime from the billing portal in the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Pro until then.
• •Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods. UK consumers may have a statutory 14-day right to cancel; contact us and we'll honour your legal rights.
• •We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• •Resell, scrape, or abuse the service, or attempt to bypass plan limits or security.
• •Use Bluntly for anything unlawful, or upload content you don't have the right to use.
• •Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.

Your content

You keep ownership of your CV and the content you provide. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service (e.g. sending it to AI providers to generate your results), as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your content at any time.

Disclaimers

Bluntly is provided "as is". We don't warrant that scores are accurate, that the service is uninterrupted, or that acting on its feedback will lead to any particular result. AI output can be wrong — use your own judgement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AEA Solutions Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost opportunities, or job outcomes arising from your use of Bluntly. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Where liability is permitted to be limited, it is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using Bluntly and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or abuse the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. This does not remove consumer protections you have where you live.
